The 2 Streels Help in New Orleans
Twackwear donated close to 100 tee-shirts to the Lantern Light Ministry in New Orleans for the poor and homeless people devestated by Hurricane Katrina.
Meet the 2 Streels!
The 2 streels are Mary Fearon and Wanita Bates. And we have been preserving old Newfoundland words on tee shirts since August 2001.
We also believe in giving back to the community and we've donated over $1300 to Kids Eat Smart and the Seniors Resource Center in St. John's.
Twackwear has been featured on local media in the province such as CBC Radio One and The Telegram, as well as nationally in The Toronto Star, Edmonton Journal, The Ottawa Citizen and CBC National's Basic Black.
